Bond commission heads to the central bank confidential division today

The Presidents commission investigating the central bank bond issue is to observe the proceedings of the central bank treasury bonds auction room today.

A bond auction of 24,thousand million rupees is to take place at 8.30 this morning .

The Treasury bond auction is held at a unit considered as highly confidential within the premises of the central bank government debt department.

Members of the commission, Supreme court judges, K.T Chithrasiri, Prasanna S. Jayawardena and former deputy auditor general K. Velupillay  are to attend the observation of the central bank treasury bond auction.

A group of government senior lawyers representing the Attorney generals department and a lawyer representing the perpetual treasuries company is to attend the session.
