Postal Department Unions meet to discuss strike plans

The trade union representatives of the Postal Department are scheduled to meet today (Jan. 05) to discuss their future course of actions relating to their demands.
The discussion will be attended by Ministry Secretary and several other officials from the department.
The postal unions are urging the authorities to rectify the flaws in the recruitment process and they say trade union action will be launched from 10th of January if it is not addressed.

When contacted the subject Minister H. M. A. Haleem, he said that the issues of the postal unions will be discussed at today's meeting.

He added that they are ready to face if a trade union action is launched.
