Parents opposing SAITM to make critical decisions

Media Spokesperson of the Government Medical Faculty Students' Parents' Association Dr. Nimal Karunasiri says that their National Executive Council will meet tomorrow (Jan. 07) to discuss the SAITM issues.

He said that they might make several key decisions at the meeting.

The Government Information Department recently said that the government signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SAITM and Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, to set up 2 non-profit entities to absorb SAITM assets and students in order to wind up the operations of the SAITM.
