Notice issued to former Presidential Secretary

Colombo Magistrate Court today (Jan. 11) issued notice to the former Secretary to President, P. B. Abeykoon.
He was asked to appear in courts to record evidence relating to 3 cases filed against former Minister Johnston Fernando for non-disclosure of details of his assets.
The case was taken up before Colombo Chief Magistrate, Lal Ranasinghe Bandara.
Then the lawyer who appeared for Bribery Commission said that P. B. Abeykoon and the official who was in charge of the assets details at the Presidential Secretariat would be cited as witnesses in the case.
Accordingly, they were issued notices to appear in court on 6th of April 2018.
