Illegally imported glyphosate nabbed

Illegally+imported+glyphosate+nabbed
28,000kg of glyphosate illegally imported into Sri Lanka have been apprehended by Sri Lanka Customs staff.
 
The container was opened at their terminal in Orugodawatte.
 
The banned agro-chemical was found hidden inside a rice container.
 
The customs officials said that the estimated value of the illegal stock was Rs. 3.2 million.
