Bond report to be translated into Sinhala

Plans are mooted to translate the Bond Commission report into Sinhala and it will be sent to Official Language Commission for that.

The Presidential Secretariat said that the Official Language Commission in a letter requested for the opportunity for translating the Bond Commission report.

Copies of the final report of the Presidential Commission that probed the bond scam was also tabled in Parliament on Wednesday (Jan. 17).

On this occasion, the Presidential Secretariat had taken action to hand over 26 English copies of the report and a summary report to the Parliamentary Secretary General.

Similarly, a copy of the final report of the Presidential Commission was also sent to the Commission to Inquire into allegations of Bribery or Corruption on 10th this month.
