Protestors demand arrest of Uva CM

A demonstration is now underway in front of the Badulla Tamil Girls' school demanding the arrest of Uva Chief Minister Chamara Sampath Dassanayake.
Our correspondent said that the parents of the students are staging the demonstration wearing black armbands.
The Uva CM is accused of forcing the principal of the school to kneel down before him at his official residence after inviting the principal to meet him.
He had scolded her also for not admitting a child who was sent to her school with a recommendation from the Chief Minister.
