Hatton teachers protest against Uva CM (Photos)

The teacher unions staged a protest in Hatton town today (Jan. 30) against the Chief Minister of Uva, Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, who is accused of forcing a female principal to kneel down before him.
Our correspondent said that the protestors had marched from Hatton Bus Terminal to Hatton Town before staging a demonstration.
The Secretary of Ceylon Teachers' Association Joseph Stalin said that the Uva Chief Minister should be dismissed and other officials should be suspended to facilitate a proper investigation.
