Fort Magistrate names suspects in Bond case

Former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran, Perpetual Treasuries owner Arjun Aloysius and PLT CEO Kasun Palisena have been named as suspects in the Central Bank Bond scam case.
Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne gave the order this morning (Feb. 02).
The Magistrate also directed Arjuna Mahendran who is now in Singapore to arrive in Sri Lanka and give a statement to Criminal Investigation Department before 15th of this month.
Meanwhile, yesterday the Colombo High Court extended the freeze of 24 bank accounts owned by PTL and its subsidiaries.
