Train tragedy in Angulana, 4 dead

Police say four persons were killed when a train collided with a lorry in Angulana this evening (Feb. 05).
The victims were travelling on the foot-board of the train. Two others are in the hospital.
The incident took place at around 4.55 pm.

The train had left Maradana at 4.10 pm and it was plying towards Kalutara.
Police said that the ill-fated lorry was reversing towards the railway track when it hit the oncoming train.
