Largest aircraft leaves Mattala

The world's largest cargo aircraft Antonov An-225 Mriya which arrived at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport on Wednesday, left the island this morning (Apr. 20).
It landed at the MRIA, for refuelling and allow the crew to rest, the Airport Manager said.
The aircraft has a crew of 24 and its wingspan is around 88 meters.
The aircraft arrived from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the next destination is Karachi, Pakistan.
