Lanka IOC says in line with the fuel price increase of CPC, they will also increase the prices with effect from tomorrow (May 11).
When we contacted, a Spokesperson at the Lanka IOC confirmed the price hike.
Meanwhile, Minister Rajitha Senaratne told the weekly Cabinet briefing, the fuel prices of CPC will be increased effective midnight today.
He said accordingly a litre of Octane 92 petrol has been increased by Rs. 20 to Rs. 137.
A litre of Octane 95 petrol will be sold at Rs. 148, with an increase of Rs. 20.
A litre of auto diesel has been increased by Rs. 14 to Rs. 109 and a litre of super diesel has been increased by Rs. 9 to Rs. 119.
According to the new price hike, a litre of kerosene oil, which was sold at Rs. 44, will be sold at Rs. 101, an increase of Rs. 57.
