The Immigration and Emigration Officers' Association has suspended their work-to-rule campaign carried out at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
They had agreed to suspend the trade union action after a discussion with Minister S. B. Navinna, who had agreed to address the issues raised by the union.
The Minister had agreed to submit a Cabinet paper on the demands cited by the union.
They urged the authorities to draft a service minute for them.
The activities of the BIA affected since last night as a result of the work-to-rule campaign launched by them.
