There are reports about a family of 24 with as many as 11 of them with physical disabilities, living amidst grave difficulties at Walsapugala in Suriyawewa.
Previously, they had lived in a cave, but with their own efforts, they have managed to build a roof over their heads.
The head of the family suffers from both hearing and speaking disabilities.
