An explosion at a Madras or a religious school in Peshawar, near the Afghan border in Pakistan, has killed at least seven people and injured more than 50 others.
The deceased were aged between 20 and 30, while four children under the age of 13 were also among the injured.
Peshawar has witnessed a number of such atrocities in recent times, with an attack on a military school there six years ago killing at least 150 people, including children.
