"I'm not going to take it. It's my right" - President of Brazil on the covid-19 vaccine

Brazil has the second highest number of coronavirus deaths reported in the world. However, Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro said that he would 'not take' a COVID vaccine.

"I'm telling you, I'm not going to take it. It's my right," he said.

The Brazilian President has repeatedly said that people will not be required to be vaccinated when a coronavirus vaccine becomes available

He also said that the people of the country do not need the coronavirus vaccine. Acknowledging that he ‘regrets’ the deaths that have been caused by the novel virus, he went on to say that everybody is eventually going to die and therefore needs to face it.

The President of Brazil has stated that he has no confidence in the vaccine being produced against coronavirus.

The president has repeatedly said Brazilians will not be required to be vaccinated when a coronavirus vaccine becomes widely available
