Meanwhile, Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila states in a Twitter message that the Ministry of Energy will be closed until next Friday.
This was after several officials in the Minister's office were reported to have been infected with the coronavirus.
The minister said in a Twitter message that he had not been infected with the virus according to the result of a rapid antigen test conducted but he had decided to close his office until next Friday as a precautionary measure.
Minister Gammanpila has further stated in his Twitter message that he will resort to self-quarantine from today.
