Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa says that the university education of children should not be delayed.

The Prime Minister made this observation at a meeting with the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) today.

At the meeting, the proposal by the GMOA to complete the medical degree by the age of 22 and other degrees by the age of 20 was discussed.

It has been revealed that the Ministry of Education and Higher Education is already paying attention to this matter and conducting examinations and admitting students to universities without delay.
