It is reported that two new governors will be appointed after the President's visit to Japan.

According to Sources United National Party General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara and former national organizer of United National Party Navin Disana will be given the post of Governor.

Meanwhile, new governors were recently appointed for the North, East and North-West provinces.
