The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has announced an increase in fuel prices effective from midnight on the 1st of October. The revised prices are as follows:

Octane 92 Petrol: Increased by Rs. 4 to Rs. 365 per litre.
Octane 95 Petrol: Increased by Rs. 3 to Rs. 420 per litre.
Auto Diesel: Increased by Rs. 10 to Rs. 351 per litre.
Super Diesel: Increased by Rs. 62 to Rs. 421 per litre.
Kerosene: Increased by Rs. 11 to Rs. 242 per litre.

These price adjustments reflect changes in global oil prices and are implemented according to the price formula used by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation for regular revisions.

LIOC will also be matching the revised fuel prices of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC):

Meanwhile, SINOPEC announced revised fuel prices with effect from 6 pm on October 1st. Here are the updated prices:

Octane 95 Petrol: Increased by Rs. 6 to Rs. 420 per litre.
Auto Diesel: Increased by Rs. 10 to Rs. 348 per litre.
Super Diesel: Increased by Rs. 61 to Rs. 417 per litre.
Octane 92 Petrol: Remains unchanged at Rs. 358 per litre.

These adjustments reflect changes in global oil prices and are part of the regular price revisions carried out by SINOPEC.
