A two-year-old girl has died following a van accident on the Southern Expressway in the Elpitiya area. The van, which was en route to Mattala, overturned after its rear tire struck a guardrail.
The accident, which involved 12 people, also resulted in injuries to two other children who are currently receiving treatment at Elpitiya Hospital.
