Sri Lanka Police have brought back four individuals from India, including Police Constable Ravindu Sandeepa, who allegedly aided the escape of underworld figure Nadun Chinthaka, alias "Harak Kata," from the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department.
Among the suspects is Madawala Kapuralalage Amila Chandrananda, alias Amila, a resident of Narahenpita involved in murders, drug trafficking, and money laundering. He is expected to be detained at the Terrorism Investigation Division for further questioning, according to Police Media Spokesperson Buddhika Manatunga.
The other two suspects, Eranga Pushpakumara Hettiarachchi and Ratnayake Weerakoon Aroshan Madushanka, are wanted in connection with murder, drug offenses, and robberies. Police have already filed cases against them in court.
