The fourth day of the "Siri Dalada Vandana," the exposition of the Sacred Tooth Relic, concluded yesterday (21), with a substantial turnout of devotees.
A total of 170,000 pilgrims paid homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic yesterday (21).
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic announced an extension of the viewing hours by one hour from yesterday (21).
Accordingly, devotees can venerate the Sacred Tooth Relic from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
The designated access routes for pilgrims, including the entry from D.S. Senanayake Veediya, the route via Sangharaja Mawatha, and the pathway along the Kandy Lake Round, were once again filled with devotees today.
Organisers have introduced a QR code for pilgrims attending the "Siri Dalada Vandana," providing access to essential information such as food and beverage facilities, other amenities, and the latest updates regarding the exposition.
Notably, Muslim mosques in Kandy city have also made provisions to accommodate the needs of devotees visiting the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Even as the official viewing period concluded at 5:30 PM, a considerable number of devotees who had not yet had the opportunity to venerate the relic were still queuing.
