Low pressure condition affecting the island fades away; Fishermen and Naval Personnel cautioned

The MET Department stated that since the low pressure condition affecting the island is subsiding showers will decrease.

Duty Meteorologist Pabodhini Karunapala speaking to our news team stated that however some provinces will experience showers.


Meanwhile, the Disaster Management Centre stated that 588 more families who were affected by the inclement weather conditions remain at Welfare Camps.
