Canadian+Premier%27s+decision+remains+unaltered%3B+Canadian+Minister.

Canadian Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney states that the decision taken by Canadian Premier Stephen Harper on boycotting the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting due to be held in Sri Lanka remains unaltered.

 

Kenny made the following observation reply to a query which was directed at him by a journalist during a media briefing which was held today.

The media briefing was held on the theme of combating illegal human smuggling, an effort which is being perused by both nations.

 

However when contacted secretary to the ministry of external affairs Karunathilaka Amunugama noted that the government of Sri lanka was yet to receive an official response from the Canadian government.
