SL Consul ready to assist facilitation of returning Sri Lankans

The Sri Lankan Consul in Dubai states that it is willing to assist in efforts to facilitate the return of Sri Lankan's who had entered the United Arab Emirates illegally during the amnesty provided by authorities.


The 27 day amnesty extended towards illegal aliens by Saudi authorities ends on the first week of February.


Accordingly the Sri Lankan Consul in Dubai states that it is able to provide these individuals with the required visa & passport documents.


The measure is said set to provide great relief to Sri Lankan migrants whose passports have been detained by their respective Saudi employees.
