30 officers at Kahawaththa police receive transfers

30 police officers attached to the Kahawaththa police have been transferred with immediate effect.


According to Senior D.I.G. of Rathnapura Vaas Gunawardhana the transfer had come into effect commencing yesterday.


It was also reported that plans are underway to transfer a further 30 police personnel in the near future.


These officers have been handed over regular transfers due to having served in the Kahawaththa area for more than 5 years.
