Prevailing cold weather to persist

The Department of Meteorology states that the current cold weather pattern being experienced in the island may prevail until the first week of February due to the dry & cold winds being propelled towards the island from land.


Director General of the Department of Meteorology S.H. Kariyawasam expressing his views to our news team stated that as part of the weather phenomenon being experienced cold conditions would be experienced during morning & night while humid conditions would be experienced during noon hours.
