More talk about combating racism

Filing answers to a query posed by Democratic National Alliance Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayeke recently Chief Government Whip Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva noted that a special parliamentary select committee would be appointed to look into allegations of attempts to incite communal discord within the country.


Addressing several media briefings held throughout the day yesterday Ministers Dullus Alahapperuma, Keheliya Rambukwella & Nimal Siripala De silva expressed the following views in this regard.




Meanwhile the Bodhu Bala sena Organisation is due to meet with President Mahinda Rajapaksa today to discuss issues.

Against this backdrop Deputy Minister A.H.M. Hezbollah states that certain parties are hell bent on creating discord between the government & various ethnicities.
