Bill proscribing funds provided to terrorist passed

The Amendment bill which proscribes funds as well as goods being provided to terrorist outfits was passed in parliament today devoid of having conducted a vote.


When the bill was produced before parliament on Wednesday, the opposition pointed out that the word 'terrorist' had been poorly defined in the bill.


Accordingly the bill was presented to the Parliamentary Advisory Committee yesterday and was subsequently presented before the house today.
