Sunday, 10 February 2013 - 19:16

Managing Director of the Lanka Indian Oil Company Subodh Dhakwal states that it has decided to re-ship the stock of substandard fuel.

Expressing his views to our news team Dhakwal noted that issues in the color of the stock of fuel had influenced this decision.

Moreover the Kolonnawa Oil Storage Terminal states that it has declined to accept 5000 Metric Tonnes of Diesel which were brought down to the island by the Lanka Indian Oil Company since the stock of fuel had failed to meet the required quality standards.

According to the Media Spokesperson of the Kolonnawa Oil Storage Terminal Nishshanka Jayawardahana this stock of diesel would be proscribed from distribution followed by last evening's analysis.
