Opposition Leader calls for two polls

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe speaking during a function held at the Durga-kovil in Thellip-palei Jaffana has urged the government for two polls in the interest of the countries people.

Wickremesinghe's comments come as he is currently engaged in a one day fast urging the government to resettle around 37,000 individuals in the Northern Walikamam area.

Representatives of the Aligned Opposition including those from the Tamil National Alliance are also in support of Wickremesinghe at the venue.
