All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Association issues solution to the Halal Crisis Dissolve the Ulama Association - requests the Bodhu Bala Sena Organization

The All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Association has made a request to let institutions that have obtained the Halal certification to only sell their produce to Muslims as a solution to the Halal crisis.

 

They further requested vendors not to sell Halal certified products to non Muslims.

 

The secretary of the Halal certification division of the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Association Murshid Mulasar had the following to say in this regard.

Our news team inquired from the secretary of the Bodhu Bala Sena Organization venerable Galagodaaththe Gnanasara thero regarding the suggestion made by the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Association.

Meanwhile the parliamentary committee appointed by the president to look into the halal certification is scheduled to meet today.

 

Reports state that representatives of both the Bodhu Bala Sena Organization and the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama Association have been invited to express their views to the committee.
