Fuel price hike

A liter of Lanka I.O.C. Petrol has been increased by three rupees per litre.


The Ceylon Petroleum Cooperation meanwhile increased the price of a litre of petrol by 3 rupees with effect from midnight yesterday.


Accordingly the new price revisions are in effect from today.


However prices of Lanka I.O.C. diesel remain unchanged.


Managing Director of the Lanka I.O.C. Subodh Dhakwal expressing his views to our news team stated that C.P.C. diesel prices which were revised tally with the current pricing of Lanka I.O.C.


The state-owned Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has increased the price of a liter of Octane 90 and 95 petrol by 3 rupees, Auto Diesel by 6 rupees Super Diesel by 3 rupees and Kerosene by 4 rupees effective from midnight yesterday.

Accordingly, the new price of a litre of octane 90 petrol is 162 rupees, Petrol octane 95 is 170 rupees, Auto Diesel –121 rupees and Super Diesel 145 rupees.
