Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe is scheduled to address today the 22nd UNHRC session held in Geneva.

While the UNHRC session began in Geneva day-before-yesterday, it was conspicuous that Human Rights Commissioner Navaneethan Pillai made a mention about Sir Lanka in her inaugural address itself.

This was followed by a top level round of discussions held with regard to the reports every country had put forward.

Meanwhile the USA too made a statement about Sri Lanka at the UNHR session yesterday.

That was while mentioning that the LLRC report has not been implemented.
