The foreign employment bureau has commenced an investigation with regard to the sudden demise of a mother and daughter employed in Lebanon.
Media Spokesmen of the Foreign Employment Bureau Mangala Randeniya stated that the Sri lankan ambassador in Lebanon was notified to provide a preliminary report within 24 hours.

The 62 year old mother and the 17 year old daughter were admitted to a hospital in Beirut on the 15th of February and pronounced dead on the 17th.
The bureau decided to investigate the sudden demise following complaints made by the relatives.
