The post-mortem examination on the bodies of three victims of the same family

who were found dead at a home in Sagara Mawatha-Panadura commenced this evening.

Accordingly the post mortem examination on the husband, wife & 8 month old infant daughter of the same family commenced at the premises of the Panadura base hospital.

Based on a call that the police emergency hotline had received last evening 3 corpses were discovered at a house located in Sagara Mawatha, Panadura last morning.

Police believes that the male victim-the father of the family may have murdered his wife & daughter, ultimately taking up his life as well in the end.

The Panadura Southern police are still conducting further investigations into the incident.
