Allegations against the island biased & unfounded; President

President Mahinda Rajapaksa states that allegations leveled against the island with regards to alleged human rights violations at the United Nations Human Rights Council are biased & unfounded.


Expressing his views to Japan’s NHK television president Rajapaksa noted that these allegations were unsubstantiated & were attempts aimed at destabilizing the country.




President Rajapaksa concluded his 4 day tour of Japan yesterday which was done on the sidelines of celebrating the 60 years of bi-lateral ties between both countries.
