Investigations commencing into Thissamaharama Children's home which forced occupants to animal slaughter.

The National Child Protection Authority has commenced investigations into a children’s home in Bogha-pelessa-Thissamaharama where the administration had forced its child occupants to carryout animal slaughter.

According to Chairman of the NCPA Attorney-at-law Anoma Dissanayeke the administration of the children’s home is alleged to have carried out this gruesome practice for an extensive period of time.

A special police team comprising of NCPA attaches have been dispatched to the scene of the incident.


Speaking further the Chairman of the NCPA expressed these views.
