JVP urges special court procedure regarding Matale mass grave

The JVP states that a special court procedure should be initiated with regards to the mass grave in Matale.


Addressing a media briefing held in Colombo today General Secretary of the JVP Tilvin Silva made the following observations.




The Front Line Socialist Party recently filed a complaint with the Human Rights Commission urging it to carry out an inquiry into the grave.


Dating conducted on the skeletal remains recovered from the Matale mass grave has been found them to date back to somewhere between 1987 to 1990.
