Residents of Thanamalwila protest demanding for clean water

Area residents of the 17th mile post area in Thanamalwila engaged in a protest today demanding that they be provided access to portable water.

Area residents from several villages including Usgala & Anguna-kola-wewa had staged this protest hampering vehicular traffic on the Monaragala-Colombo main route.

Protesters expressed their grievances to our news team in the following manner.
