President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that the current Government came to power not by making false political promises or election pledges.

 

The President said so while participating at the launch of last year’s central bank report in Colombo yesterday.

Addressing an awareness workshop held for party members at Temple Trees yesterday under the SLFP ‘Blue Wave’ people empowerment programme President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that steps should be taken to build the country on behalf of the future generation.
