Electricity fare hike is reasonable; says Deputy Finance Minister.

The JVP states that until the increased electricity tariffs are revised they will continue to protest against it.


JVP General secretary Tylwin Silva made this statement while distributing leaflets against the electricity fare hike infront of the fort railway station yesterday.




However, deputy finance Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama states that the decision taken to increase electricity tariffs is reasonable.
