Former LTTE carders visit parliament

The final 375 LTTE carders who completed the rehabilitation program under the ministry of rehabilitation and prison reforms visited the parliament yesterday.


The former LTTE carders had seen the parliament for the first time in their lives.


Minister of Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms Chandrasiri Gajadeera expressed the following views regarding the program initiated to strengthen and lives of former LTTE carders.




This group is scheduled to tour several regions including Galle, Matara and Hambantota districts.
