President Rajapakse to address local governments of the Commonwealth Countries today

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will address the 7th sessions of the local governments of the Commonwealth Countries held in Uganda today.


President Rajapaksa who is on an official tour in Uganda has been invited to deliver the key note address at the sessions.


Meanwhile President Mahinda Rajapaksa and Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni opened the new Sri Lankan High Commission in Kampala yesterday.


The new Sri Lankan High Commission in Uganda is the 62nd Sri Lankan diplomatic mission abroad and the sixth in the African continent.
