Public cautioned over using rivers and tanks

Most of the reservoirs have reached spill over levels due to the recent heavy showers.


Accordingly Vice Chairman of the Life Saving Association ASP H.H. Choolasiristated that the public should be vigilant when bathing in rivers and tanks.


Meanwhile, a youth who had gone to bath in the Mahaweli river in the Kandakaduwa area in Aralaganwila had drowned yesterday.
