Minister of Foreign Employment Welfare & Promotion Dilan Perera states that Sri Lanka is unable to influence the Middle Eastern justice system in order to obtain a pardon on behalf of those who have been condemned to death.
According to the minister 10 Sri Lankans have been condemned to death in various Middle Eastern nations.
These countries include Dubai, Abu Dabi, Quatar & Saudi Arabia.
A multitude of Sri Lankan’s has been condemned to death on accounts of having committed murder.
