Electricity+Concession+if+reservoirs+remain+full+till+October

National Electricity Consumers Movement states that since water levels in catchment areas have risen, the government is able to provide electricity to consumers at a reduced rate.

 

At present the water levels of catchment areas have risen to 67 % of its capacity.

 

Secretary of the National Electricity Consumers Movement Bandula Chandraseka speaking in this regard expressed the following views.

In reply Secretary to the Ministry of Power & Energy M.M.C. Ferdinando added that a decision regarding the price of electricity would only reached upon observing the Water levels of Catchment areas until October.
