Questions raised in parliament regarding delays in teacher salaries.

Various views were expressed in parliament today regarding the token strike organised by the opposition.


Opposition leader Ranil Wickramasinghe raised a question regarding the delays in paying teachers salary.


Education Minister Bandula Gunawardena, Chief Opposition whip John Amaratunga and Mp A.H.M. Azwer expressed their views.




Meanwhile an interesting debate took place between MP Dayasiri Jayasekara and Minister Johnston Fernando.
