Conditions for importation of Potatoes and B Onions

The ministry of agriculture is preparing to enforce new conditions for the importation of potatoes and B Onions.


Hence the ministry is preparing to issue import licenses only to those who are purchasing Potatoes and B Onions from local farmers.


The secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Wijeratne Sakalasuriya stated that the cabinet paper in this regard will be presented to the cabinet for approval in the near future.
